While Colorado and Washington both legalized recreational marijuana in 2012, the two states have had vastly different outcomes in terms of recreational pot sales.
Washington’s recreational sales aren’t nearly as high as those in Colorado, where recreational shops outnumber medical stores two to one.
Denver’s alternative weekly newspaper Westword also reported in October that sales of recreational marijuana outpaced medical sales for the second month in a row in Colorado.
Will the same thing soon happen here?
