Two pot stores are opening next week; why they matter

Two pot shops are opening next week. The first, Herbal Nation, will open in Bothell. It will be just the second retail marijuana store open in King County. The other, Green Life Cannabis, is opening up near Wenatchee, a city that has banned marijuana businesses.

Herbal Nation in Bothell says it will open on Monday, August 18 at noon, wrote Lauren Downes in an email. Downes said Herbal Nation is “an upscale retail shop whose core values are safe and responsible use of cannabis.”
