Boys and Girls Club denies pot farmer’s $14,000 donation

PROSSER, Wash. — A local pot farmer has been turned down twice while trying to give away money.

First, the Prosser school district said they didn’t want his money, now a children’s non-profit has rejected the offer of a handout.

When Randy Williams held the State’s first ever pot auction, he set aside some non-intoxicant marijuana for a special reason. This form of pot doesn’t get you high and is often given to kids with a seizure disorder.

“The little bit that I do have, eleven lbs, I’m donating the entire sales price to the Prosser School District,” Williams said during the November auction.
