SEATTLE — Cannabis City has variety, but they’re regularly unsure what that variety will include.
“Some days only have pre-loaded vapor pen cartridges, some days have flower, some days only have edibles,” Amber McGowan said.
McGowan manages Cannabis City, Seattle’s first recreational pot store. It’s been the city’s only recreational store for two months.
The second store, Uncle Ike’s, is expected to open in the Central District any day.
“Right now, a couple more would be a blessing, realistically,” McGowan said.
Cannabis City averages 600 customers every day and typically runs out of marijuana once a week.
One variable they had never predicted is Seahawks home games. Last Sunday’s brought in an extra 250 customers.
