OKLAHOMA – Cannabis enthusiasts gathered signatures across the metro Sunday, looking to legalize the use of marijuana here in the Sooner State.
Oklahoma State Question 773 is the petition to vote on the regulation of Marijuana & Hemp in the state.
In order for it to be passed, supporters will need over 156,000 signatures by October 13th.
One Oklahoma mother is looking to get marijuana legalized in the state for a completely different reason, to help treat severe medical illnesses.
Amy Hilterbran’s son, Austin, has Dravet Syndrome, a severe form of Epilepsy that causes him to have multiple severe seizures everyday.
