There are medical marijuana programs in 23 states and recreational sales in 2, yet college students who legally use cannabis for medical reasons or otherwise still face an atmosphere of retributive prohibition at school with the denial of student loans and a career altering record as typical penalties, and in high schools federally funded drug testing programs, both random and targeted, are more wide spread, so as classes convene this fall CRN’s Brian Bahouth spoke with Betty Aldworth, Executive Director of Students for Sensible Drug Policy for a clearer picture of the drug policy landscape for learners …
